Sarufutsu Village Esanuka Line

This road is officially known as Sarufutsu Village Esanuka Line. It is a straight route that runs along the coast, parallel to National Route 238. The total length of 16 km includes two long straights of 4 km and 8 km respectively. Flanked by lush fields on either side, the magnificent Hokkaido scenery is popular among motorcyclists and drivers alike.
There are no utility poles or signboards along the road, offering unobstructed views as the road extends over the horizon. The area has been chosen as a location for a number of commercials due to its outstanding beauty.
