Jizoiwa Rocks

Jizoiwa Rock is a 50 m high rock that towers above Motochi Beach. It is named after the fact that it resembles the bodhisattva Jizo bringing their hands together in prayer. While in the past it was possible to approach Jizoiwa Rock, the risk of falling rocks means that this is no longer permitted. The Motochi Beach area of Rebun island is also known for its beautiful sunsets.
